1. The other day I walked into the new green dry cleaners to ask about prices. She looked at my clothes and says “usually we charge $15…but since these are small we’ll only charge you $12.”

  3. Jars of Jam

Wildly craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I marched down to Key Foods to buy a jar of Bonne Maman strawberry preserves.  It took awhile but I finally found it sitting oh so conveniently out of my reach by a few shelves.  Noticing a taller woman in her 30’s standing nearby inspecting the peanut butter, I asked for her help.  She turned to me, looked straight at my face, and said “My arm hurts. No.”

  5. Coffeetime

While waiting on line at Starbuck’s this morning, the Barista skipped me and asked for the order of the guy behind me.  Realizing he glazed over me, he blushed and scurried away to prep my coffee.

Patiently waiting for my coffee, the barista then begins to shout out “iced americano! iced americano!” I peer to my left..peer to my right…and realize I’m the only one standing there.  Swallowing my dignity, I start waving my arm in the air before he finally looks down and hands me my coffee.
